The Tayside and Fife Archaeological Committee is a liaison group which aims to promote archaeology in Tayside (Perth and Kinross, Angus and Dundee) and Fife.

TAFAC brings together individuals and organisations sharing a common interest in promoting and protecting the archaeology of the area. This covers prehistory, the Picts, the Romans, the Medieval period and right up to the 20th century.

Founded in 1977, TAFAC holds a popular annual Conference to showcase what is new in archaeology in Tayside and Fife.

TAFAC publishes an annual journal and specialist monographs.

We also publish the reports on the Perth High Street Excavation, available as four separate Fascicules.
